About our kayaking courses in Dalarna
Gliding silently over calm lakes is perhaps the closest one can get to nature in our opinion. The kayak gives you the opportunity to travel forward without disturbing the wildlife, and both birds and beavers are often surprised when we come around the corner. Long-distance paddling is an excellent form of exercise and relaxation that suits everyone, and with a kayak you can reach places no one else can. Whether you want to try one of our kayaks before making a purchase on the Dala River or enjoy a longer trip on the Malingarna lake system, we highly recommend these tours. Everyone is welcome and no prior experience is required.
All our guides are experienced, trained, and love to guide.
We also offer fully equipped accommodation with sauna and SPA pool for those who want to stay overnight.

Enjoy our spa area with a wood-fired sauna and hot tub.
After your adventure, you can enjoy our wood-fired sauna and SPA pool. This SPA corner is located only 60 meters from the beautiful Lissfors, and if you want to take a refreshing dip after the sauna, there is a safe and quiet corner in the rapids where you can cool off (you should not swim in the rapids). Our SPA corner can also be booked for events such as bridal showers and group of friends. Contact kurs@kajaktiv.se for booking.
Sauna and SPA pool are included in all courses with overnight stay. For other courses and adventures, this can be purchased as an add-on.

Kajaktiv AB was founded in 1995 by James Venimore and has always focused on helping people get out on the water and into nature from day one. We have always had high standards for quality in our carefully selected products and our goal is to have satisfied customers who feel confident with their equipment no matter what sport they practice. We always strive to offer exceptional service and are happy to give you tips and advice if you have any questions.
Over the years, we have learned to adapt each course to the participants’ experience. By doing so, we build security and trust, which means you learn more and have more fun when challenging yourself on the water.
We have high expectations for our instructors – they must not only have many years of paddling experience, they must also have a passion for teaching and sharing their knowledge and experiences.
