Whitewater Kayaking in Trysil

The Femund River in Trysil is the perfect rapid for those who want to take the next step and experience what whitewater kayaking is really about.

This is something you cannot miss! This year, we at Kajaktiv will organize guided tours to Femundselva in Trysil, where almost every Swedish whitewater paddler south of Kiruna has started their journey towards becoming a better paddler.

A whitewater paddling trip to Trysil in Norway is in itself a fantastic experience. The trip offers a combination of excitement and relaxation in a beautiful and peaceful environment. We will camp close to the rapids and cook food over an open fire.

With us, we have an experienced instructor who will guide you through the different techniques and safety procedures. Throughout the weekend, the guide will explain how to handle the kayak and give you tips and tricks to maximize your skills.

During the trip, you will have the opportunity to practice different techniques and challenge yourself with varying levels of difficulty on the rapids. We can promise that after this trip, you will feel more confident and empowered.

This whitewater paddling trip is the perfect journey for a beginner looking to take the next step. It is an exciting, fun, and educational experience that will surely give you memories for life.

Kajaktiv will take care of the food shopping and we will cook all meals together. As it is a group trip, we will discuss food preferences and make sure everyone with allergies and dietary requirements is satisfied 🙂

NOTE!
To join this trip, it is required that you have completed our Step 2 course or have similar experience. Being able to perform an Eskimo roll is not a requirement. If you do not have a drysuit, you can rent one from us at Kajaktiv.
