Registration is 700 SEK (approximately 55 euros) for the weekend, and includes the following:

• Event administration
• Accommodation for 2 nights (Friday and saturday) in a dormitory with Kajaktiv or in the club house, alternatively camping.
• Access to bathroom and showers
• Community meal (BBQ) Saturday night including one beverage (sponsored by Kajaktiv)
• Access to clinics during the weekend
• Registration for the packraft race
• Access to the movie night

Basic packrafting paddling skills:

Thursday and Friday.

This is an introduction course suitable for everyone who never took a paddling course. We will cover all the equipment needed, the outfitting of the boat, river features, communication, basic paddle strokes and how to safely navigate a river with friends. Includes nature guiding on our local sections of Västerdalälven.

Duration: 2 days

Cost: 1800 sek + Optional accommodation @ 200 sek per person per night

Intermediate packrafting paddling skills

Thursday and Friday.

A course for the more advanced paddlers who already have the basic course. In this course we’ll work on more advanced paddle strokes, edging, boofing, catching eddies, surfing. Includes nature guiding on our local sections of Västerdalälven.

Duration: 2 days

Cost: 1800 sek + Optional accommodation @ 200 sek per person per night

River Safety and Rescue Training NOTE

Sunday and Monday

Learn how not to put yourself and your fellow paddlers in danger, how to look after yourself in a dangerous river incident and learn what to do and not to do, including skills like use of throw bags, pulley systems and crossing techniques. The course is run by Guidestugans Fred Fredrik a qualified Rescue  instructor. (Note: this is not a certified Rescue 3 course).

We have put this course on the Sunday and Monday, so participants can do the courses before and join the clinics etc on Saturday.

Duration: 2 days (Thursday and Friday).
